Cape Buffalo (Mozambique)

Introduction

Hi, my name is Chris Rager. I have dedicated my life to promoting the Great Outdoors. I have been fortunate enough to Hunt, Fish and Travel around the World and have harvested some of the Worlds most incredible Trophies.
While on these adventures I have met and spent time with some of the worlds greatest Outfitters and Guides.
"Flying Arrow Consulting" is a service that I wish to provide to you, so that you too, can enjoy your experience in the Outdoors knowing that you'll be hunting or fishing with a qualified Outfitter.
I'll never recommend an Outfitter that I haven't personally spent time with in the field. I have hunted the US, Africa, New Zealand, Canada and have fished all around North America, Mexico and New Zealand.
I have extensive knowledge about archery and rifle hunting and have guided in the US and Canada.
I'm the President of "Rod Benders LLC" and will be traveling the US on a quest to catch all of the species of North American Game Fish.
While on this quest, I'll be fishing with several Outfitters from around the country. I'll be posting comments on this blog as well as "projectrodbenders.blogspot.com".
At the end of this quest I hope to publish a journal with a step by step process so other people can take on the challenge without so much homework.
If you're interested in an incredible Hunting or Fishing adventure, please feel free to contact me
@ 406-581-6602.
Some of my travels make it hard to respond right away, but please have patience. I will get back to you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Eastern Cape of South Africa (Plains Game)

If Plains Game is what you're looking for, you can't beat the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Excellent for spot and stalk hunting with rifle or bow. With the economy the way it is, now's a great time to book a hunt, while the prices everywhere are down.

There's hogs and then there's HOGS !!!

If you're fortunate enough to spot one of these Giant Porkers while hunting the South Island, you'll swear their on steroids. This Hog was figured to weigh somewhere just shy of 600lbs. It took 5 guys to manhandle this thing around. I thought I knew what big Hogs were until I ran into this thing. As big as he was, it only took 1 nicely placed broadhead at 10 yards to the ribcage to organize him.

Archery Hunt for Trophy Montana Elk

This hunt takes place on a private ranch in central Montana that has been managed esclusively for Trophy Elk. We have not taken more than 3 Elk a year off of this ranch since 1995. You will see Elk everyday, and lots of them. You will hunt from a tree stand or box blind so not to disrupt the game. I have harvested several animals that would qualify for the P&Y record books. If your dead serious about harvesting a Trophy Bull Elk, you'll be hard pressed to beat this deal.

Tuskers of Africa

My son and I went on a 21 day Safari in Zimbabwea and harvested this 40 pounder with a bow. The Safari was top notch. It was nice having a PH. that was a bowhunter himself. The Trackers are an amazing breed of humans. I've never seen anything like it. If you want to get started on you African Big 7 collection, call me for available dates.

New Zealand Wapiti (Giants of the South Island)

These giants are found only on the South Island of New Zealand. This Bull scored 414 SCI. Great hunt beautiful country. Excellent archery hunt. I went with a couple of Buddies and we all tagged out on exceptional animals. The occomidations and service were 2nd to none. Call for more information.

Monster Speckled Trout

I'm heading back up North to pick up my boat and get ready for Spring Fishing to begin. I spent the Winter in South Texas fishing my guts out with a great friend and fishing guide. If you're ever in the mood to catch Red Fish, Speckled Trout and Huge Black Drum you need to call me and make your reservations for Spring before he books out. This is an incredible trip worth taking for any fisherman.
